Keep your water shaded, fresh, and cool. Rinse and fill at least morning and evening all bucket waterers. Flush drain and fill automatic waterers twice daily. 2. Provide ample hay for fiber and scratch value, along with your feed. Coarse grass or hay grazer will help you the most in these extreme conditions. 3. Provide plenty of shade and air flow during the day. Fans are a must to keep your barns cooler and the flys at bay. 4. Stay diligent with your internal and external parasite controls. 5. Monthly injections of B12, Thiamine, AD&E, or BoSe will keep them feeling good and active; plus it will guard against anemia and other deficiencies. Pro Tip- Weekly oral administration of paste or liquid probiotics will help maintain a healthy gut and immune system, during this hot summer weather!
