Jason Jacoby & family bought 6 smaller tanks and an oat warehouse and began what we call Jacoby Feed & Seed. We sold feed and wheat (a lot of which Jason and his family were farming themselves).

We purchased our first truck to begin delivering bulk feed. (It was a Kenworth, which we still have today.)

We built a 50x100 warehouse and purchased the wooden grain cleaner to begin cleaning oats and seed, predominately for the G. Rollie White Downs.

We built 4 more grain tanks and began cleaning corn and making our own feed.

We remodeled the original warehouse to include a kitchen, where we began cooking hamburgers and sandwiches for the employees.

The Jacoby family began raising their own show sheep and eventually started selling them to others.

We began harvesting our own beef, raised locally in Melvin, TX. This was in preparation for opening Jacoby’s Cafe the following year. At our cafe, we serve exclusively Jacoby Brand Beef.

We opened Jacoby's Cafe and Feed/Supply Store. (The original 1981 warehouse, became offices.)

We opened the Tire and Mechanic shop in efforts to be able to fix our own farm and ranch equipment and vehicles, to save on cost and time. As well as, to fill a need within  Melvin and the surrounding rural communities.

Jacoby's Cafe got an upgrade. We added coolers and a mercantile; as well as, began selling wine and beer.

We bought the rail center property to gain access to the rail and bought equipment to begin our own land conservation and construction.

We added a new fertilizer barn and warehouse.  This was built in order to meet all of the custom fertilizer needs.

Jacoby's bought rail cars & commodities to begin storing and transporting sand.

Jacoby’s sister restaurant opened in Austin, TX by the eldest Jacoby son, Adam Jacoby. Jacoby’s Austin is perched along the Colorado River in East Austin, and brings the ranch-to-table dining experience from Melvin to the big city of Austin. With breathtaking views, hearty Southern comfort food, and a one-of-a-kind Texas atmosphere it is a true Austin gem!

We expanded the rail center in Brady to offer our Jacoby Feed and Grain for sale, in town.

Jacoby Brand Beef takes on new flavors, with the opening of our 2nd sister restaurant, Grizzeldas. Grizzeldas is located in Austin, TX and offers a variety of heirloom and traditional Central Mexican dishes.

The new offices were built, as the old offices (original warehouse) were being torn down.

Two new grain bins were put in, where the original offices stood.

We closed in the porch of Jacoby’s Cafe to create an event space/party room.
